Sheenika combines her passion for law, marketing and technology as the Digital Marketing / Technology Specialist for Knobbe Martens, an intellectual property law firm (Am Law 200).
Her focus is maintaining and improving the firm's websites (knobbe.com and knobbemedical.com), developing social media strategies, expanding digital content marketing, and managing the firm's email marketing.
As an active California attorney, she enjoys connecting with attorneys on their practice of law, understanding social media ethics issues, and working with cross-functional teams (IT, Recruiting, and Administration).
She has held leadership positions in several organizations including Communications Chair for both the Legal Marketing Association - Bay Area Chapter and Legal Marketing Association - Southern California Chapter.
Mikala is the Firmwide Director of Business Intelligence and Litigation Development at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. In this dual role, she leads the firm’s efforts in business intelligence, competitive intelligence, and practice/experience management, as well as in litigation development.
Mikala is currently leading the Firm’s experience management project to track key data points within each practice area for marketing purposes. She also leads the firm’s cross-marketing initiative and releases a client intelligence report to Kirkland partners annually.
In addition to these business intelligence-based initiatives, Mikala lead the Litigation Development group in projects that promote business expansion, relationship management, client pitching, and client team advising. In this role, Mikala has lead the firm’s responses to The American Lawyer’s, “Litigation Department of the Year” national and regional contests and has helped the firm to place as the winner, a finalist, or an honorable mention in each publication to date.
Mikala has more than 15 years of marketing experience and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago as well as a Masters from the University of Chicago.
Adam Stock is Chief Marketing and Client Services Officer at Allen Matkins. Adam Stock helps law firms provide value to their clients through innovative marketing and technology use. Before joining the legal profession, Adam hired outside law firms as a high technology executive for Adobe Systems, Electronics for Imaging, Inc., and several start-up companies. Sales and Marketing Management Magazine named Mr. Stock a “Sales & Marketing Pioneer” and “Motivator of the Year” for his work in implementing sales systems in the legal industry.
He is frequent speaker on law firm client development, technology and video. Adam has helped run the Legal Marketing Technology Conference for the last 5 years. He is Chair of the 2016 Legal Marketing Technology Conference/West and sits on the LMA – Bay Area Chapter Board. He is Past President of the LMA – Bay Area Chapter, and served on the Advisory Committee of the 2013 LMA National Conference. He is a member several law firm standards committees. He is a Board Member of LSSO (Legal Sales and Service Organization). He received his BA in computer science from Yale University.
