Dan Harper
Global Board Member ACC and former Assistant General Counsel, CTS Corporation - CTS Corporation


Mr. Harper has been a member of senior management teams since moving in-house. He participates as a leader on corporate wide initiatives, as well as provides counseling on commercial agreements (sales, ERM, licensing, and dealer), employment matters (employment litigation and employment agreements), internal investigations, litigation management, corporate policy/procedure, global manufacturing, eCommerce, iMedia, intellectual property, environmental remediation, software licensing, technology, and marketing.

Mr. Harper is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) in Washington, D.C. He has served the Chicago Chapter as a director and in leadership positions, including President. Mr. Harper also served as an officer of the Information Technology and eCommerce Committee of the ACC.

Most recently, he was Assistant General Counsel of CTS Corporation (CTS NYSE), a global designer and manufacturer of sensors, actuators, and electronic components for the automotive, communications, medical, industrial, computer, defense, and aerospace industries.

She has worked in professional services marketing for more than fifteen years, in industries ranging from legal and accounting to insurance and human resources. She has an innate ability to identify, encourage and develop her clients’ unique and differentiating professional strengths, and to help clients leverage these strengths to meet and exceed bottom line goals.

In her capacity as the Director of Marketing and Business Development at one of the most reputable AmLaw firms in the southeast, Jill structured and led her team in developing, implementing and managing award-winning communication, business development and marketing initiatives.  Further, Jill is a tenured member and past president of the Southeastern Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association.  Additionally, she currently serves LMA in the following capacities: LMASE Board of Directors, LMASE Law School Outreach SIG, LMASE In House Counsel SIG, LMA International Membership Co-Chair, and LMA International Organizational Structure Task Force.

Jill is an accomplished author, publishing many articles for legal and business publications as well as serving as an industry expert on law firm models, billing, structure, etc.  Additionally, she has presented on many marketing and business development related topics, including the 2014 LMA International Conference where she served as a panelist on coaching, and most recently she moderated a discussion at the University of Florida Levin School of Law on the business of being a lawyer.  

Passionate about learning, Jill has attained a Yellow Belt in Legal Lean Sigma, DiSC Trainer designation and certification as a Change Management Specialist.  She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Law Practice Management from George Washington University.

Not only is Jill well connected, she is highly respected and widely sought for her expertise and paramount perspective in all aspects of professional services marketing.
