Adrian Dayton is an evangelist of social media for the legal profession. Starting in 2009 with the publication of his first book Social Media for Lawyers: Twitter Edition (ARG Group) he asked the question, can lawyers use social media to build high value relationships and make it rain?

Over the two years since his first book was written, Adrian has had a chance to test and prove that hypothesis working with some of the largest and most well respected law firms in the United States. He has worked on strategic planning and long term implementation with Global 100 law firms, mid-sized firms in the AmLaw 250 as well as firms across Australia.

In working with pilot groups, Adrian has developed a 6-12 month coaching and training program that helps lawyers identify, quality and engage new prospects with the help of social media. Through this process, he has facilitated the design and launch of dozens of law blogs and helped hundreds of lawyers build strategic social media profiles.

He has a passion for writing and is currently a weekly columnist for the National Law Journal and monthly writer for Technolawyer’s BigLaw Newsletter. His latest book is Social Media for Lawyers: LinkedIn, Blogs and Website 2.0. You can follow him on Twitter @adriandayton.

An industry pioneer, Jan Anne Dubin is an award-winning law firm consultant with 30 years of experience leading, innovating, and serving as a change-agent and connector. Since 2009, she has worked with clients ranging from global professional service firms to small- and middle-market companies to individuals on marketing, business development, client service, strategic communications, leadership development, and diversity and inclusion strategies. Jan has led hundreds of cross-functional teams in pursuit of new business generating fees in excess of $100 million. Having served at the forefront of the development of one of the world’s largest global law firms, Jan has direct experience leading client service, business development and marketing strategies during the mergers. She held senior leadership positions with two of the largest global law firms DLA Piper LLP and Baker McKenzie LLP and was a director with LECG. She also serves on numerous global and local Not-For-Profit boards focused on empowerment and directed to women, youth and education.

A sought-after marketing expert and thought leader, Jan serves as a strategic business partner to Thomson Reuters. Recognized by Today’s Chicago Woman magazine as one of 100 Women Making a Difference, she was also awarded the Anti-Defamation League’s Distinguished Community Leadership Award and has received several first-place national “Your Honor” awards from the Legal Marketing Association. A 1994 M.B.A. graduate of The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, she also hold a B.S. degree from the University of Kansas, William Allen White School of Journalism.
